Local Charities to Receive Polar Pop Mountain Bikes for the Holidays!

Circle K is donating 40 Polar Pop Mountain Bikes to local charities this holiday season. State Representative Lisa Dugan is the Chair for the 21st Annual “Lisa Dugan - Toys for Tots” campaign in the Kankakee, IL area. She holds this charity event each year and highlights the campaign with a large Christmas Open House at her home. They expect to assist giving over 1300 kids – Christmas gifts.

U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant Mike Whitsett was present for our donation to the local Normal, IL. “Toys for Tots” Christmas campaign. The local Marines work with the Salvation Army and local charitable organizations to ensure over 1400 kids have a Christmas gift.

Both Ms. Dugan and Sgt. Whitsett were very appreciative and stated it was very thoughtful and kind of Circle K to make such a donation.

Brownsburg’s 2nd Annual Build-a-Bale Contest

Circle K (Store #2274) along with more than 40 other businesses, organizations, and individuals have put their community spirit and creativity on display for Brownsburg’s 2^nd Annual Build-a-Bale contest, sponsored by the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Brownsburg, IN.

The decorated bales are located on the lawn at Town Hall through Halloween.

Polar Pop Float

Circle K Float takes First Place in the Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade in Springfield, IL on Thursday, August 12. The parade is the official kick off for the Illinois State Fair that runs now thru August 22^nd.

The Circle K team led by Kay Schooley did an outstanding job building the float. The response from the crowd was incredible “shouting Polar Pop” over and over as the float passed by and also for the 2010 Polar Pop Camaro. Kay commented “I have never seen a response like that to our Brand before!”

Thank you to all the Circle K managers and store personnel that participated in the parade.

Bill has done a great job developing a relationship between Circle K and the University. On this day, he threw out the 1st pitch and was recognized at the game as a Red Bird supporter. Fan appreciation Polar Pop coupons were given in support of Red Bird athletics.
